Happy Birthday J'Neal!!!

Happy Birthday my friend J'Neal! I hope you have a wonderful day and just so you know, you share a b-day with David Lascher from Hey Dude! Remember that show? It was AWESOME!!!

P.S. Sorry I ripped off your photo, but how could this not be circulating even more on the web? I loves it...

It's 4-Wheeler Season!!!!!!!!!

Hooray, it's that time to dust off the old 4-wheelers and really see what they can do. If you are lucky enough to live out in the desert like we do, then you know the desert is one big ATV playground. BUT, even some people fall down off the monkey bars. The following pics are to commemorate Mike Honcho's Day Of Fun!

Enjoy. I hope your not eating.

These first 3 pics are from the day after Mike Honcho's Day Of Fun:

These are the tire marks.

This is the broken collarbone.

This little beauty happened while skidding across the desert floor.

This next set was from a few days after:

Ahhh...the bruising is coming along nicely.

It's always nice to bring home a souvenir

This one is my personal fave. I think it really captures the fun that was had.

It has been about a week since Mike Honcho had his Day Of Fun.
Here are some pics from this morning:

The healing has begun...excellent.

Only a few more weeks in his sweet harness and he should be good. I know he is looking forward to Mike Honcho's Day of Fun Part 2, but maybe he'll skip bringing home souvenirs and just opt for fond memories.

MMMM.....Ceviche

Who doesn't love ceviche? I love it, Adam loves it, Mike Honcho loves it, even Fidel loves it. That last part was a lie, Fidel doesn't love it, because it's too spicy for him to taste, but I bet he would love it if he got his little paws on it. Here is Adam making shrimp ceviche yesterday. He normally uses the raw tuna, but he was trying something different and boy oh boy is it delish!

Look at all that beautiful goodness....yum

What in the....

What is this? Why is there no other explanation on the bag other than "orange cauliflower"? I don't understand why it is orange and I wonder if it was "made" this way or does it naturally occur this way? I am so confused by this little head of cauliflower that the only reason I bought it, and brought it home, was to take pictures and blog about it. I'm confused....

Well, at Least It's Something....

We have a small Frisbee golf course here in Tonopah that puts all other courses to shame with its tiny size and ridiculously easy par 3's. I say easy, but it's not that easy for me. It's cool, don't feel bad for me, just know if you ever come to Tonopah and play some disc with us, I'm going to talk major smack and act like I am awesome. Just so you know. Even though it may not be the best course, at least there is one here. Below are some super great pics of us and some friends taking in a beautiful day at Highland Park:

Adam was congratulating me on how well I play!
Actually, he was consoling me on how bad I play, but do I look like I care about my lack of skill?
I am awesome.

Here Adam was winding up for a big one...

Today was Angie's first time playing and the boys were giving her some sweet pointers. Except for BJ, he seems to have spotted something awesome over yonder....

And there she goes......Looks like it's going to be a Perfect shot with that excellent form!

Hmmm....contemplating the next move? Or watching someones disc fly? I'm guessing they are judging distance and wind velocity.

Oh just another exciting day in ol' T-Pah!! I hope whoever decides to come visit us this summer is bringing their A game, cause it's gonna be ON. Like RON. In the JON. Petting a FAWN. At DAWN. word.
